Ellen Page (cont'd) Although it is ravaging the Canadian environment, as well as causing massive social problems it is extremely connected to the United States as Canada is now supplying such a massive amount of "oil" for the US. This is not oil, however, it is called bitumen, which is a nasty, dirty substance and takes an incred...ible amount of energy to simply use it for energy.

Just watched the documentary "Carny" by Alison Murray. Its fantastic, I strongly suggest checking it out. She also made an amazing doc years ago called "Train on the Brain" which is also dynamite.

Ellen Page Reading Bill McKibben's "The End of Nature" at the moment, putting everything into perspective. Unbelievable book, which is unfortunately so believable and painfully eye opening that it is hard to get through, but an essential read. Check it out, hopefully to be inspired and not the cause of a nervous breakdown. If you... have read any Rachel Carson it is similar, so brace yourself. Hope everyone is well. xoellen
