I am a fan of Monkey Island, but I think some people are overreacting about this release of the game.. It is fun and enjoyable, no doubt. The remade music and graphics gave me goose bumps. But it is actually quite buggy, too.
Many times the commands do not apply right away. If you choose "Look at" for example, many times you must redo it 2-3 times before it actually applies. Also when I looked at my 173 pieces of Eight, Guybrush said again and again that I had 371 pieces of Eight.
The game is good, but it has its flaws. It seems to have been rushed a bit.
I have to give it 3 strong stars.. Almost 4 because of the fantastic humour and nostalgic values though.
