Is Google's Wave usefull ?
Is google.wave.com going to change the wave we use communicate on the web or is it going to go the way of orkut. Currently in limmited Beta Wave is a real time colaborating tool. Was rumored to redefine email. I think wave is going to see more gmail intergration rather that replacing email . A...fter all of all google apps gmail is one of google's biggest successes.
Google has tried open social before with friend connect and other. If you would like to try Wave hop on over to wave.google.com you do need an invitation because like I said it's a limmited beta. You can request a invite from google. You will need a gmail account to use. Wave.
I have a couple of invites left, sent me an email and I'll add you to my invite list.

Jonny GoogleWave really needs a good widget (speaking from a Mac POV) so links can open up the widget, instead of having to have multiple instances of Wave

Hello, people! Just to let you all know, a few friends and I have quite a bit of invites on our hands and we thought it would be a good idea to find a chance to give it out to people who need it.
So here's the deal, all you have to do is become a fan at our fan page, and comment at the post about Google Way Invites. Simple as that!

I think at some point in time that internet interaction could branch off in the direction Google Wave is pointing, but this is just not ready yet. And it's not intuitive enough. Having to install all kinds og applets and robots and whatever is the case is not for the average user. It has to work "out of the box" to bec...ome a tool for the masses.
Sorry if I am stepping on some toes here, but I think a lot of the beta test users are under the influence of the Stockholm-syndrome. They want so bad for this to work that they do not see the obvious.
