Paula Just saw the movie for the first time, though I've been meaning to for ages... WOW, really funny and heart-wrenching at the same time! I'm glad to know they're doing well, was rooting for them all the time I was watching :)

I loved the movie, but too bad events were shown out of order. The movie implies that the production and distribution of "This Is Thirteen" led up to the triumphant concert in Japan. Problem is that the movie shows Lips getting the box of CDs in August, 2007, but the concert in Japan was in October, 2006. Misleading an...d very disappointing. Also, when they are recording the album in England, Lips has no beard. When Lips is being interviewed in the LA radio studio by Wiliam Howell of KNAC, Lips has a beard. When they are being interviewed by the EMI Records exec, no beard. When he takes the telephone call about the Japan gig, no beard. When they arrive in Japan, he has a beard. I hate it when documentary film makers don't show things in chronological order.
