An alpine ski racing coach once told Michael Schwalbe of Behance that racing is 40% physical training, 30% technical skill and experience, and 30% willingness to take risks. In ski racing the 40-30-30 rule meant taking more chances and increasing the likelihood of falling. Academic Ranking of World Universities released the 2009 rankings. #1: Harvard. #2: Stanford. #100: Emory. Eight out of the top ten are in America. Two are in Europe (University of Cambridge and University of Oxford). There are also rankings by subject areas. For example, in Computer Science, Stanford is #1, and MIT is #2. More on Education.
