Adam Monroe

Adam Monroe is a piano based alternative/progressive rock singer/songwriter. A native from northern New Jersey, Adam dove into music with piano lessons at the age of five and although he has received some formal classical and jazz training, most of his abilities are the result of years of playing by ear and improvisation. Fundamentally influenced by his experience as a drummer/percussionist, Adam's style of piano play ranges from haunting soft melodies to aggressive, complex patterns and arpeggios. Adam toured in 2008 playing kepboards/backup vocals for Billy Howerdel's new project Ashes Divide.
