Michael Lee Jackson is a guitar player, singer, songwriter and performer who has been slinging it out on stages in his home town of Buffalo, New York and all around the world since the early 1980’s. Jackson’s poignant songwriting, and honest, whisky-voiced delivery, com ...bined with a the fierce, but lyrical reckless abandon he brings to his approach to playing guitar is sure to get the ear of anyone out there with a rock and roll bone in their body. Jackson played guitar for nearly a year touring the world with 10,000 Maniacs a few years back, and then Jackson took his group, Animal Planet around the world a few times performing in every remote nook and cranny imaginable for the USO. In 2006, Jackson took some time off from finishing his new record to executive produce, musically direct, and play guitar on an album from Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan, entitled Gillan’s Inn, which featured a guitar player’s dream line up of guitarists (Steve Morse, Joe Satriani, Tony Iommi, Jeff Healey and many others). Recently, was released "One Eye To Morocco", the new Gillan's album released this year which include 3 tracks created only by Michael Lee Jackson, they are, "Texas State Of Mind", "Better Days", and "Ultimate Groove"
