Carrie Reichardt The Revolution Will Be Ceramicised.....at least under the Westway!!
This Wednesday, 16th Dec at 7pm, Carrie Reichardt aka The Baroness and Miquita Oliver will unveil the UK's most radical ceramic mural at Mutate Britain's 'One Foot Under the Grove' exhibition.
Artists from The Treatment Rooms Collective... along side volun...teers from the local community have spent the last few weeks making a huge new mural in a previously unused space under the Westway, next to Portobello market.
You are invited to come along and help us celebrate this important new addition of public art to one of London's most culturally significant neighbourhoods.
This mural is made in loving memory of two of our fallen comrades, Evie Doggart and Ed Maiden. We are hoping that members of their families will be present as we unveil plaques for them.
We will also have a flash mob punk choir present to sing at the event.
Please come along, support our work and see cutting edge craftivism in action.

AKA The Baroness, Carrie is one of the cofounders of The Treatment Rooms. The UKs only ceramic house of resistance. Reichardt truly believes that the revolution will be ceramicised. For this edition she has teamed up with K-Guy, the artist responsible for draping the stu...nning Kate Moss in the coke logo to create Coke Moss and produce this exclusive edition of 25 – The Coke Moss print edition sold out overnight, so depeche mode if you want one.

Couldn't resist the pull of this one and it just seemed perfect..... I knocked this out in double quick time for the re-opening of the Mutate Britain, One Foot in the Grove show.
The Westway and Potobello Rd is synonymous with The Clash + the Mutate show situated right under the flyover, it seemed stupid not to, right place, right time wins the day in my book.

K-GUY off to Mutate to paint a new piece - it's chucking it down...
