Henry VIII is to Twitter the world-changing events of 1509 – from learning of the death of his father Henry VII on 22nd April, to his coronation at Westminster Abbey on 24th June - exactly 500 years after they happened.
Henry’s ‘Tweets’ will be based on the most reliable surviving documentary evidence, and are being developed in consultation with historians at Historic Royal Palaces - the independent charity that cares for two of the sites most associated with the mighty monarch: Hampton Court Palace and the Tower of London.
